Work during this time included comprehensive project management for capital improvements for the Chloride School District in Arizona and construction control services on the Phase 1 tower of the Hard Rock Hotel project.
PRODUCTION MANAGER Green Valley Electric, 714 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, Nevada 89015. March 1993 to January 1994. Part time. Responsible for contract administration, management systems and oversight of company policies and procedures. Projects were primarily industrial and commercial with some emphasis on process controls including water and wastewater.

- Established a new Department to manage to the contract administration, design, construction and inspection of capital improvements.

- Organized a system for the design, construction, code compliance inspection, and contract administration of all capital improvements for the district.

1985-2003 Senior Vice President Poggemeyer Design Group, Las Vegas, Nevada Manager of Structural Engineering and Chief Structural Engineer of Western Regional office. Responsible for structural design of commercial and residential buildings, public works structures (bridges, flood control facilities, wastewater treatment plants, etc) and military projects. Project experience includes many types of construction, i.e., wood framing, masonry walls, concrete frames, concrete tilt-up, braced steel frames and steel moment frames. Performed structural plan checks for State of Nevada Public Works Board and several financial institutions. Consulting services include inspecting residential and commercial construction projects, writing repair reports, and preparing estimates for attorneys defending contractors in construction defect litigation and construction contract disputes.
- Managed approvals, construction, and installation of 110' radio tower, car wash, propane fuelling station, automotive spray paint booth, and offsite improvements for local taxi cab facility.
- Design and project management of three residential remodels/additions.
- Design and project management of 2800 sq ft commercial office tenant improvement.
- Oversaw and directed construction activities of a 9000 sq ft tenant improvement for local food brokerage company. Construction included office space and large commercial kitchen. Project finished on time and under budget.
Customer Service Manager, Pulte Homes, Las Vegas, NV, Aug. 2003-May 2004
- Managed long term warranty service (special operations division) and repairs on 1,500- 3,000 homes throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Focused on problem solving and claims resolution with HOA's and individual homeowners to prevent potential litigation.
- Lead monthly meetings with in house service managers, trade contactors owners and upper level managers to implement processes and a reward program to improve customer service procedures and practices. As a result, many trade contractors streamlined their practices and increased productivity requiring fewer customer service personnel.
